President Biden may have been one of the few dignitaries granted permission to take his own transport to Westminster Abbey but once there he had to settle for a seat 14 rows back.

Biden was seated on the south transept of the abbey, where 500 foreign dignitaries were seated, with royals at the front, opposite the King and his family, followed by governors-general of the realms that retain the monarch as their head of state, and then elected Commonwealth leaders.
